His current work explores performance, culture, and media through lenses such as syncretism, indigenous aesthetics, spatial analysis, and digital representation. From examining Pan-African cultural icons and traditional shrine festivals to analyzing Ghanaian cinema, oral storytelling, and performance spaces, Dr. Gbormittah’s research contributes significantly to the understanding of African performance traditions, their evolution, and their impact on contemporary society and media.
